My take on The Sailor Man.

When I was 5 or 6, my dad bought me a VHS tape of Popeye. He grew up loving Popeye and wanted me to experience the same joy for cartoons that he did. The tape's cover looked pretty crappy, so I didn't bother with it at first—until one rainy Saturday morning a few weeks later when boredom struck.

Once I popped it in, I was hooked. Despite its limited animation from the sixties, Popeye's strength and charisma shone through. I couldn't get enough of the tape and hunted down every Popeye movie I could find. To this day, I still stumble upon new adventures with Popeye. He's truly the ultimate cartoon character, and there can never be enough of him!
